Brief
An online catalog of unique products designed by Pad Outdoor. Product dimensions, colors, build-quality and process displayed in a user friendly format decided through a strategic process that included user stories, wireframes, prototyping, visual design and testing. The brand’s logo and custom type treatments were influenced by the modular silhouettes of the product lineup and classic mid-century graphic design.

The challenge was to design an e-commerce website with a showroom-inspired aesthetic that highlights the minimalist craftsmanship of Pad Outdoor’s designs. Key considerations included creating a modular look and feel that encourages playful planter pairings, integrating swatches that effectively convey color theory within the UI, and using brand elements sparingly to keep the focus on the product. Above all, the design needed to embody simplicity—not just as an aesthetic choice, but as a deliberate approach to showcasing quality and intentionality.
